the 5th and 6th grade students at jackson middle school are going on a field trip. there are 6 classes in the fitth grade, and e

ach class has 24 students. there are 3 classes in the sixth frade and each clas has 20 students. if the trachers clollect $12 from each student in the trip, how much money will be collected, so the answer I have is $2448, I multiply 24x6=144 and them I multiply 20x3=50 I added together =204*12= 2448 is this is right!

No because there are 20 multiplied by 3 is 60. So the answer would be 60+144=204x12=2448 but the last answer was still correct

For each of the graphs below choose inequality that best represent the graph. explain your reasoning.
Sveta_85 [38]

The desired inequalities are given as follows:

A. A. x > x + 1. because solving it yields an inequality that is False for all real numbers x.

B. D. x < x + 1, because solving it yields an inequality that is True for all real numbers x.

Which inequality represents graph A?

For graph A, as nothing is plotted on the line, we have a inequality with no solution.

The successor of a number(number plus 1), will always be greater than the number, hence the inequality that has no solution is:

A. x > x + 1. because solving it yields an inequality that is False for all real numbers x.

Which inequality represents graph B?

For graph B, as the entire line is plotted, we have a inequality with all real values as solution.

From the same logic above, of the successor, the correct option is:

D. x < x + 1, because solving it yields an inequality that is True for all real numbers x.

If a car goes 280 miles in 4 hrs how far could it go in 6 hrs and 30 mins
Zina [86]

Answer:

280/4 = 70 miles per hour. Next, take the unit rate and multiply it by the number of hours you are trying to find. In this case, you are trying to find 6 hours and 30 minutes, but this can also be rewritten as 6.5, since 30 minutes is half an hour. So, in 6.5 hours, the car can go 455 miles

I need help with pythagoras’ theorem
fomenos

Answer:

Pythagoras’ theorem is a way to find a side or hypothesis when you have 2 sides.

The formula is: a^2 + b^2 = c^2

a and b are sides

c is the hypothesis

Ex: A triangle has a leg that is 5 inches and a leg that is 7 inches. Find the hypothesis using Pythagoras' theorem.

A leg is another way of saying a side.

5^2 + 7^2 = c^2

25 + 49 = x^2

sqrt(74) = sqrt(x^2)

sqrt(74) inches = hypothesis

Ex: A triangle has a leg that is 9 feet and a hypothesis that is 25 feet. Find the other leg using Pythagoras' theorem.

9^2 + b^2 = 25^2

81 + b^2 - 81 = 625 - 81

sqrt(b^2) = sqrt(544)

b = sqrt(554)

Triangle ABC has vertices A(–2, –3), B(–5, –3), and C(–4, –2). The triangle is rotated 90° counterclockwise around the origin.
Ulleksa [173]
The rule for this rotation is (x, y) converted into (-y, x). So, to find the answer you would make the y negative and switch the values in the ordered pair. A would be (3, -2), B would be (3, -5), and C would be (2, -4). So, your answer would be B. Hope this helps!
