Median being middle if you set it up like this
5,8,8,8,8,9,9,9,10,10,
and cross one out from each side you end up with 8 and 9 in the middle so you average then and it gives you 8.5 hope this helps

= 100

Thus,

25% of 400 is 100

What is 5% of 20?

Well, we just need to follow the previous steps.

\frac{5*20}{100}

= \frac{100}{100} = 1

What is the solution to the following system of equations? 3x-4y=35 and 3x+4y=5
natta225 [31]
3x - 4y = 35
3x + 4y = 5
------------------add
6x = 40
x = 40/6 which reduces to 20/3

3x - 4y = 35
3(20/3) - 4y = 35
20 - 4y = 35
-4y = 35 - 20
-4y = 15
y = -15/4

solution is (20/3, -15/4)

Ma= P2-P1/t solve for p1
natulia [17]

Answer:

P1 =  P2 - ma*t

Step-by-step explanation:

ma= P2-P1/t

we multiply by t both sides of the equation

ma*t = (P2 - P1)*t/t

ma*t = P2 - P1

we sum by P1 both sides of the equation:

P1 +ma*t = P2 - P1 +P1

We ave:

P1 + ma*t = P2

we subtract by ma*t both sides of the equation:

P1 + ma*t -ma*t = P2 - ma*t

finally we have:

P1 =  P2 - ma*t

A pyramid is 24 ft tall. A scaled model has a height of 2ft and is 1 foot wide at the base. Identify the scale factor that was u
il63 [147K]

Answer:

1/12

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the following :

Actual height of pyramid = 24 ft

Dimension of scaled model :

Height = 2ft ; width = 1ft

The scale factor is a number used to reproduce a reduced dimension of a model by multiplying the actual dimeznsion or size of the model or object.

Since the height is of the scaled model is less than the actual height of the pyramid ; then it could be said that the scale factor is a fraction, because reduction has occurred.

(Height of scaled model / height of actual pyramid)

(2ft / 24ft) = 1/12
