Precipitation is the primary source of water stored in an aquifer. the correct option in regards to the given question is the first option. An aquifer is actually an underground layer of water that contains permeable rocks, gravel, sand etc. the water can be brought to the surface by making a water well. Hydrogeology is the study of aquifers and the way of water flow in the aquifers. The depth of the aquifers differs from area to area and the aquifers that are closest to the surface are used for drinking and irrigation purposes.

Explain what scientists might be able to learn about the seawater that existed millions of years ago by studying rocks that came
oee [108]

Answer:

About composition of water and organisms that lives there.

Explanation:

scientists might be able to learn about the composition of seawater that was present millions of years ago if we study those stones that comes in contact to that ancient seawater because the traces of particles still present on it. This study provides valuable information about ancient times of earth and its natural resources. These rocks also provides animals that were present in that sea water at that time.

Color in McIver beetles is determined by two alleles at one gene locus. McIver beetles must have a heterzygous genotype (genotyp
seraphim [82]

Answer: The frequency of brown beetles is 0.32.

Explanation: The frequency of A1 allele is 0.8. As p+q=1, or the sum of dominant and recessive frequencies equals 1 or 100%:

1 - 0.8 = 0.2

In Hardy-Weinberg principle,

p^{2} + 2pq + q^{2} = 1

2pq represents the frequency of heterozygote individuals, so:

genotype A1A2 = 2*0.8*0.2 = 0.32.

Thus, the frequency of brown beetles (A1A2) in the population is 0.32.
