Living things are highly organized and structured, following a hierarchy of scale from small to large. The atom is the smallest and most fundamental unit of matter. In plants, animals, and many other types of organisms, molecules come together in specific ways to create structures called organelles. An animals life in a desert is to survive, depending on the type of desert though, but I assume the most common desert, the hot/dry desert. Most animals are nocturnal, because it becomes cooler at night, and live underground during the day.
