A pizza cutter has an area of 64cm2. It turns 4 TIMES to cross a large pizza. What is the area of the pizza? Please SHOW your wo
laiz [17]
Well, I'm assuming you haven't had your question answered yet in these 58 minutes. I'm not 100% sure but I would think that you would do the reverse of the equation to find the area of a circle to find the radius of the pizza cutter. So you would find the radius using the equation A=\pi r r^{2} to figure out the RADIUS. THEN, you would plug in the radius into the equation C=\pir^{2} to figure out the circumference. Next, you would multiply the circumference by 4. This would give you the diameter of the pizza. Finally, you would plug in the diameter of the pizza into this equation: A=\pir^{2} to find the area of the pizza. I am pretty sure this would work and there's probably an easier way that I don't know about. Assuming you get this in time, good luck! :)

I really need help on this one.
Lemur [1.5K]

m<M  + m<N = 180°
11x + 6x - 7 = 180
11x + 6x =  180 + 7
17x = 187
x = 187 : 17 = 11

m<M = m<O = 11x = 11 · 11 = <span>121°
</span>m<N = m<L = 6x-7 = 6 · 11 -7 = 66 - 7 = <span>59°

</span><span>Check :   121° + 59° = 180°   OK !

A triangle is dilated with the center of dilation at point U. Point E is a vertex of the triangle and point E ′ E' is the corres
Snezhnost [94]

Answer: scale\ factor=5

Step-by-step explanation:

By definition, a Dilation is a transformation in which the image has the same shape as the pre-image but  size changes.

The center of dilation is a fixed point in the plane, and the scale factor is the ratio of the corresponding sides of the image to the pre-image.

Based on the information provided in the exercise, you know that:

UE = 2\ cm\\\\U'E'=10\ cm

Thererefore, you can determine that the scale factor is:

scale\ factor=\frac{10\ cm}{2\ cm}\\\\scale\ factor=5
