Various contour lines are used which can help to determine the elevations, to connect the points of equal elevation lines are used. The side view of the structure is called as the elevation view. Elevations are meters and feet. In a map elevation,are shown by points having equal elevation with the help of bands of colors. Those maps are called topographic map, which shows the elevation.
