Bror cancelled terms which should NEVER be done.
x² + 3x + 2 / (x + 2) =
(x+1) * (x+2) / (x+2)

Cancelling the (x+2) factor we get
x + 1

A certain basket contains 10 apples, 7 of which are red and 3 of which are green. if 3 different apples are to be selected

The probability for getting a red apple is 70% and green apples is 30%.
So for getting three different apples is impossible since there are two types of apples.

Order from greatest to least:show your work❗️<br><br> 12,-4,8,-3,0
Aneli [31]
The answer would be 12, 8, 0, -3, -4.

The answer is that because 12 is a positive number so that's higher than negative, 8 goes second because its positive and higher than the others, 0 is third because negatives numbers are LOWER than 0, not higher, -3 is next because higher negative numbers are always lower, not greater than smaller numbers because -8 is LOWER than -4 since its on the left of a number line.

For each $n \in \mathbb{N}$, let $A_n = [n] \times [n]$. Define $B = \bigcup_{n \in \mathbb{N}} A_n$. Does $B = \mathbb{N} \time
andre [41]

Answer:

No, it is not.

Step-by-step explanation:

The set C = \mathbb{N} \times \mathbb{N} contains every ordered pair of Natural numbers, while B only contains those pairs in which both values in each entry are the same. Therefore, C is a bigger set than B, but B is not equal to C because for example C contains [1] \times [2] and B doesnt because 1 is not equal to 2.
