Answer=12 oz

3/4*16=12 ounces

you could also solve this by going on a calculator and converting 3/4 to a decimal

3/4=0.75

0.75*16=12 ounces

or you could make 16 squares, and shade in 3 out of every 4. so like 'shade,shade,shade,skip' and repeat that until you get to the end, then you'd end up with 12 shaded

Eddi Din [679]

Answer:

Question... is the commission given 10 times or 3?

If the commission is 10 then

5*(48,000 * .075) + 3*(48,000 * .05) +2*(48,000 * .035)

5*(3600) + 3*(2400) +2*(1680)

= 28560

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If the commission is 3 then (once for first five years, once for the next three,
and once for the last two
(48,000 * .075) + (48,000 * .05) +(48,000 * .035)
=7680
The table represents an exponential function
Vedmedyk [2.9K]
The multiplicative rate is 9 if the table that shows an exponential function option fourth is correct.
<h3>What is an exponential function?</h3>
It is defined as the function that rapidly increases and the value of the exponential function is always positive. It denotes with exponent y = a^x
where a is a constant and a>1
We have a table that shows an exponential function.
As we know the exponential function:
y = a(b)ˣ
Plug x = 1, y = 6
6 = ab ...1
Plug x = 2, y = 4
4 = ab²  ...2
Divide equations 1 and 2
ab²/ab  = 4/6
b = 2/3
Plug the value of b in the 1 equation.
a(2/3) = 6
a = 9
y = 9(2/3)×
The multiplicative rate = 9
Thus, the multiplicative rate is 9 if the table that shows an exponential function option fourth is correct.
Y= x - 4<br> 5x+y=-34<br> How would I do this in steps ?
Lostsunrise [7]
Answer:
x =  -5  y = -9
Step-by-step explanation:
y = x -4
5x + y = - 34
substitute x-4 in for y to solve for x
5x + x - 4 = 34
solve for x . . . add 5x + x = 6x
so you now have 6x-4 = -34
add 4 to both sides of the equation
6x-4 + 4 = -34+ 4
6x = -30
divide both sides by 6
6x/6 = -30/6
x= -5
then you plug -5 for x in the first equation
y = x - 4
y= -5 -4
y =-9
x= -5   y=  -9
