198 because 22%=0.22  so you do 0.22*900 and that's how you get 198

You would simply do 900 times .22 because to change a percent to a decimal for multiplication you simply move the decimal 2 places to the left. so 900 x .22 = 198 students absent. hope this helps

What is the volume (in cubic units) of a sphere with a radius of 6 units? Assume that π = 3.14 and round your answer to the near
abruzzese [7]

Answer: 904.32  cubic units.

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for a sphere's volume is V = V = \frac{4}{3}\pi r^{3} \\

Substitute pi for 3.14 and radius for 6. 6^3 = 216

\\V = \frac{4}{3}\ (3.14)( 216) \\\\

Multiply them together, the answer is 904.32  cubic units.

A water storage tank is in the shape of a hemisphere (half a sphere). If the radius is 20 ft, approximate the volume of the t
otez555 [7]

Answer:

The approximate volume of the tank is V=16,747\ ft^{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The volume of a hemisphere (water storage tank) is equal to

V=\frac{4}{6}\pi r^{3}

we have

r=20\ ft

assume

\pi =3.14

substitute

V=\frac{4}{6}(3.14)(20)^{3}

V=16,747\ ft^{3}
