Answer:

In subsistence farming, planting decisions are made based on a family's needs, whereas in cash-crop farming, farmers plant strategically to capitalize on demand and market prices. While some farmers grow crops for the sole purpose of feeding their families, others engage in both cash crop and subsistence farming.

Subsistence farming, is growing crops based on a family’s needs. If a family has 6 members they will grow the right amount to feed 6 people. Cash crops are where people grow extra so they can make money of the crops. Let’s say they also have 6 people to feed, they grow enough for 6 people plus a lot more, they sell it to make money

At a friend's housewarming, you meet a young engaged couple from India. They tell you that their relationship was arranged when
TEA [102]

The most expectable answer is socialization.

This term is used to describe the process in which people learn the values, norms, and beliefs of a particular society/culture.

Therefore, for this indian couple, their early and previously-arranged marriage is nothing unusual because they were taught that's the most common thing for (indian) people to do. And you, well, you were taught differently; probably:  that is better to wait until you grow old enough, and are sufficiently independent, to support a household. So, you get a "cultural shock" by hearing about how this couple got married.
