A function is odd IF f(-x) = - f(x)

so f(-3) = - f(3)

<span>well you know that f(-3) is 4... sorry... g(-3) is 4. </span>

4 = - f(3),

f(3) = -4 just bring the - to the other side... and again sorry for using f instead of g, but you get the points.

this says the function when x is 3 equals -4

<span>(3,-4)

Select all the expressions that are equivalent to 16x - 12 -24x + 4.
mixas84 [53]

Answer:

Expressions equivalent to 16x - 12 -24x + 4.

-8x - 8 , - (8x + 8) , 8 (-x -1) , -8 (x + 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

16x -12 -24x + 4

Arranging like terms, 16x - 24x - 12 + 4 = -8x - 8

Taking common minus, =  - (8x + 8)

Taking common 8, = 8 (-x -1)

Taking common -8, = -8 (x +1)

A graph is shown below: A graph is shown. The values on the x axis are 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, and 15. The values on the y axis are 0, 9
Travka [436]
(0, 36) would be the point on the y axis, so 36 is the y-intercept, or the b value in the equation, y = mx + b.
(12,0) is the x-intercept, so we know the line has a negative slope.
The equation for these points would be:
y = -3x + 36
