Area of the trapezoid = 1/2(B+b)h
where
B= length of the longer side of the trapezoid which is equal to 14 ft
b= shorter shorter side of the trapezoid  which equal 8 ft
h = height of the trapezoid which is equal to 4 ft
Area of the trapezoid = 1/2 (14+8)4
Area of the trapezoid yard fence of Duc is 44ft^2

Dan runs
postnew [5]
So you need to find out how much time it takes him to run 1 mile. You do this by dividing 28 by 3. Once you know it equals, which is 9.3333, so about 9:21 minutes, now you can divide 42 by 9.3333 (because that is what it equaled) and you get 4.5 miles.
