Answer:

The heat sensitive polymerase would be denatured resulting in formation of little or no PCR products.

Explanation:

PCR is a technique that forms multiple copies of a small DNA sample. For the purpose, the DNA sample is exposed to very high-temperature conditions (around 95 degrees C) to facilitate the denaturation of DNA helix. These high-temperature conditions denature enzymes such as heat-sensitive DNA polymerases. Therefore, no or very little DNA molecules will be formed by the end of the process as the denatured DNA polymerase would not be able to extend the primers.

To avoid these conditions, heat-tolerant Taq polymerase is used in PCR which can withstand the extremely high-temperature conditions of PCR.

The countercurrent multiplier is a system by which the:______.
inn [45]

Answer: Option A.

nephron loop multiplies the concentration of salts in the interstitial fluid of the kidney medulla.

Explanation:

countercurrent multiplier is a system that utilize energy that create osmotic gradients and enable reabsorption of water thereby increase concentration of urine. The countercurrent multiplier uses electrolyte pumps there by making the nephron loop increase the concentration of salts in the interstitial fluid of the kidney medulla because it allows the nephron to reabsorb alot of water and and increase the concentration of urine for excretion while at the same time using as little energy as possible.

Arisa [49]

Answer:

the observations that chloroplasts and mitochondria resemble bacteria

Explanation:

The Endosymbiotic Theory is a theory that enables us to understand the origin of eukaryotic cells. The Endosymbiotic Theory posits that the mitochondria and chloroplast, which are organelles found in the eukaryotic cells, were once prokaryotic microbes that were first ingested by amoeba-like organisms and subsequently evolved by developing a symbiotic relationship with them. Some of the most important lines of evidence that supports this theory are: 1-chloroplasts and mitochondria resemble prokaryotic cells, i.e., they have a similar size, replicate by binary fission and there are unicellular eukaryotic protists that have filamentous temperature-sensitive proteins at their division plane (similarly to bacteria), and 2- chloroplasts and mitochondria are organelles with their own DNA and their own ribosomes (which are similar to those of bacteria).

Why is carbon important
nevsk [136]
Carbon is very important because Trees take it (Co2) in in order for oxygen to be produced.

All plants for the most part take in Co2 so that they can produce oxygen,
and we need that oxygen to live , to pump blood into our lungs so we can roam around.

It is basically one of the main components of our every day life on Earth.

I really hope this helps you a lot.
