Answer:

-1043,8 KJ

Explanation:

Hello!

It is necessary to accommodate the reactions to get the reaction of my interest.

Reaction A reverses what modifies its energy in its sign (+72.6 KJ).

Reaction B doubles, which also doubles its energy (-514.4 KJ x 2).

Reaction C reverses what modifies its energy in its sign (-87.6 KJ).

By sum of the energies I get the energy of the global reaction.

In a roller coaster, both the kinetic and potential energy in the car decreases at
Lemur [1.5K]

We can confirm that in a roller coaster, kinetic and potential energy in the car decreases at each successive hill because of the force of gravity which converts potential energy into kinetic energy.

What are potential and kinetic energy?

 • Potential energy is referred to as positional energy.
 • This means that the object in question gains energy based on its position relative to others.
 • Kinetic energy is the energy of movement.
 • Gravity causes the roller coaster to fall, losing potential energy.
 • This causes it to gain all of the potential energy as kinetic energy.
 • Once at the bottom, the coaster no longer moves and thus loses the kinetic energy as well.

Therefore, we can confirm that gravity is the force that causes the shift from potential energy to kinetic energy and thus causes them both to decrease after each successful hill in the roller coaster.

Are BF3 and NF3 symmetric or asymmetric molecules? explain your reasoning
e-lub [12.9K]
The shape of the molecule depends on how many electrons and bonds you have in the outer shell of the central atom.
For NH3, N is the central atom. It has 3 covalent bonds and a lone pair. Thus the repulsion of the lone pair electrons and the bond electrons will force them to arrange at the corners of a tetrahedral. The molecule will look as a trigonal pyramid (since the lone pair is not "visible" in the structure.

For BH3, B is the central atom and has no lone pair apart from the three bonds. So the repulsion of the bond electrons will force them to be in a planar trigonal arrangement.

I don’t really know anything about this so i need help
Elena-2011 [213]

Answer:

D. a new substance is formed.

Explanation: "Chemical reactions involve combining different substances. The chemical reaction produces a new substance with new and different physical and chemical properties. Matter is never destroyed or created in chemical reactions. The particles of one substance are rearranged to form a new substance." B. and C. are two different effects of chemical reaction, but not for all. Hope this helps ^-^.
