2No(g) + H₂ → N₂O(g) +H₂O (g)

A decrease in the concentration of nitrogen monoxide decreases the collisions between NO and H₂ molecules.The rate of forward reaction then decreases

Explanation

When the concentration of substance is changed the equilibrium shift to minimize the effect of that change.

Therefore when concentration of No (reactant ) is decreased the chemical equilibrium will shift toward to reactant side.

This is because there is less collision of reactant which led to formation of less product ( the rate of forward reaction decreases)

Answer:

2NO(g) + H2(g) → N2O(g) + H2O(g)

A decrease in the concentration of nitrogen monoxide decreases the collisions

between NO and H2 molecules. The rate of the forward reaction then decreases .

I want to know which ones are molecular equation, complete ionic equation and net ionic equation
NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer:

The molecular equations are:

1. CuSO₄ (aq) + 2 KOH (aq) ----> Cu(OH)₂ (s) + K₂SO₄ (aq)

2. Ba(NO₃)₂ (aq) + K₂SO₄ (aq) + BaSO₄ (s) + 2 KNO₃ (aq)

The complete ionic equations are:

1. Ag + (aq) + NO₃- (aq) + I- (aq) + Na (aq) ---> AgI (s) + No₃- (aq) + Na+ (aq)

2. Cu²+ + SO₄²- (aq) + 2 K+ (aq) + 2 OH- (aq) ---> Cu(OH)₂ (s) + 2K+ (aq) + SO₄²- (aq)

The net ionic equations are:

1. Ca²+ (aq) + SO₄²- (aq) ---> CaSO₄ (s)

2. Ba²+ (aq) +SO₄²- (aq) ---> BaSO₄ (s)

Explanation:

A molecular equation is a balanced chemical equation which shows the reacting species as molecules rather than as componenet ions in their compounds with subscripts written beside the molecules to indicate the state in which they occur in the chemical reaction.

An ionic equation expresses the reacting species as components ions in a chemical reation. All the ions and molecules reacting are shown.

In a net ionic equation, the ions which remain in the ionic state also known as spectator ions are not written as part of the equation.

From the given attachment;

The molecular equations are:

1. CuSO₄ (aq) + 2 KOH (aq) ----> Cu(OH)₂ (s) + K₂SO₄ (aq)

2. Ba(NO₃)₂ (aq) + K₂SO₄ (aq) + BaSO₄ (s) + 2 KNO₃ (aq)

The complete ionic equations are:

1. Ag + (aq) + NO₃- (aq) + I- (aq) + Na (aq) ---> AgI (s) + No₃- (aq) + Na+ (aq)

2. Cu²+ + SO₄²- (aq) + 2 K+ (aq) + 2 OH- (aq) ---> Cu(OH)₂ (s) + 2K+ (aq) + SO₄²- (aq)

The net ionic equations are:

1. Ca²+ (aq) + SO₄²- (aq) ---> CaSO₄ (s)

2. Ba²+ (aq) +SO₄²- (aq) ---> BaSO₄ (s)

Solubility
Inga [223]

Non electrolytes are Pentacarbon decahydride, Phosphorus pentachloride, Glucose.

Explanation:

Non electrolytes do not exist as ions in aqueous solution. Since it does not get dissociated into ions, these non electrolytes do not conduct electricity when it is dissolved or it is heated or melted.

Pentacarbon decahydride is a non electrolyte.

Magnesium chloride is an electrolyte.

Copper phosphate is an electrolyte

Sulfur trioxide is an electrolyte.

Aluminum oxide is an electrolyte

Phosphorus pentachloride do not get dissociated into its ions so it is a non-electrolyte.

Glucose gets dissolved in water but do not dissociate into ions, so it is a non electrolyte.

The electrostatic attraction between positively charged nuclei and negatively charged electrons permits two atoms to be held tog
Serggg [28]

Answer:

The correct answer is a. chemical bond. See the explanation below, please.

Explanation:

The resulting electrostatic interaction is called ionic bond between ions of opposite charge (one negative and one positive). This allows the attraction between both charges, constituting a chemical compound. Eg the Sodium (Na +) ion combines with the Chlorine (Cl-) ion forming Nacl (sodium chloride, known as table salt).
