What Caused the Great Depression?



"As a massive recession that devastated the country (and subsequently the entire world), it's hard to pin down one single fault for the Great Depression. It was a number of factors all coalescing into more than a decade economic misery."

This caused the "Black Thursday" Panicked investors began selling their shares in an unprecedented volume. The stock market then, crashed.



Authoritarian Governments:

Authoritarianism, principle of blind submission to authority, as opposed to individual freedom of thought and action. In government, authoritarianism denotes any political system that concentrates power in the hands of a leader or a small elite that is not constitutionally responsible to the body of the people.
