I have to run a mile every 2 months at most.  This last time I had to shave 50 seconds off of my time.  I ran 3 laps on my own averaging 2 minutes per and then had someone else who runs a lot run the last lap with me and that lap became about 1:40-50.  We did this multiple times.  I had a watch with me so I was trying to pace myself the first 3 laps.  When I had to officially run my mile I was under the time I needed.  So find someone fast to run with you is the best bet.  The human desire for competition will take over and eventually you will start running much faster because you want to beat them.

Which gender and race has the highest and second highest rate of newly diagnosed hiv cases in tx?
vovikov84 [41]
More than 1.2 million people in the US are living with HIV, and 1 in 8 of them don’t know it. From 2005 to 2014, the annual number of new HIV diagnoses declined 19%. Gay and bisexual men, particularly gay and bisexual men, are most affected. In 2015, 39,513 people were diagnosed with HIV infection in the United States. The number of new HIV diagnoses fell 19% from 2005 to 2014. Because HIV testing has remained stable or increased in recent years, this decrease in diagnoses suggests a true decline in new infections. The decrease may be due to targeted HIV prevention efforts. However, progress has been uneven, and diagnoses have increased among a few groups.

Sleep is an important part of your daily routine, especially for children and teenagers. Using the provided information about te
Phantasy [73]

Answer:

may i please get brainiest

Explanation:

Teens typically need up to 10 hours of sleep each night to function at their best during the day. Problem is, many adolescents don't get the healthy sleep they need. Getting teens on a regular sleep schedule can improve their health, as well as their performance at school and at home, but it will require a creative approach. If you have a teen, you have seen firsthand that children's sleep needs change over time. According to Kathy Gromer, MD, a sleep medicine physician at the Minnesota Sleep Institute in Edina, infants need roughly 16 hours of sleep each day. By age 4, children begin sleeping mostly at night, but they still need 10 to 12 hours of sleep. "Teens need 9 to 10 hours, although there is some natural variability," says Dr. Gromer.

While teens' daily sleep requirements do decline somewhat, they also naturally begin going to bed later. "It isn't just bone-headedness, it's biology," says Gromer. But this normal tendency can spell trouble if high school hours start earlier than what teens are used to. And when teens' sleep needs and a shifting sleep schedule are combined with a packed activity schedule, it can cut into the amount of healthy sleep they’re getting. Factor in their tendency to wake up later in the morning on weekends, and it can add up to frustration for parents trying to get their teens on a healthy sleep schedule.
