The medulla also called the medulla oblongata is the segment of the brainstem that is factually the stem, which elongates from the brain. The medulla is positioned below the pons and above the spinal cord and is a major relay intersection for information conducted to and from the spinal cord and the brain. This section of the brain is a monitoring center for circulation and respiration.
This part of the brain that composes the brain stem. It is in the brain stem that virtually all bairn neurons cross before they reach the spinal cord. Due to this fact, a small injury to this part of the brain is critical and can cause dysphagia, respiratory and heart problems, sleep disturbance, and abnormal consciousness.
They could improve the experiment that they made by adding another variable such as: watering the plants with fresh water. This way they could have a better comparison how plants grow based on the type of water they are exposed with.
