The term El Nino/Southern Oscillation refers to the occurrence of warmer than normal sea surface temperatures in the Eastern Pac
Amiraneli [1.4K]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

The El Nino/Southern Oscillation occurs in between the three phases Neutral, La Nina or El Nino.

The humboldt current takes cold water to South America's west coast to the tropics from the Southern Ocean. Because of the welling which takes place in Peru this process is enhanced. Due to the trade winds near the equator the cold water travels west where it heats up due to the sun. This makes the water of the western Pacific warmer.

How many carbon dioxide (CO2) molecules are produced during the decomposition of 1.25 moles of Carbonic acid (H2CO3)? ****Rememb
Andreas93 [3]

Answer:

7.53×10²³ molecules

Explanation:

Given data:

Number of moles of carbonic acid = 1.25 mol

Number of molecules of CO₂ produced = ?

Solution:

Chemical equation:

H₂CO₃ → CO₂ + H₂O

Now we will compare the number of moles of carbonic acid with CO₂ from balanced chemical equation.

                                 H₂CO₃ : CO₂

                                    1 : 1

                                   1.25 : 1.25

Number of molecules can be determine by using Avogadro number.

It is the number of atoms , ions and molecules in one gram atom of element, one gram molecules of compound and one gram ions of a substance.

The number 6.022 × 10²³ is called Avogadro number.

Number of molecules:

1 mole = 6.022 × 10²³ molecules

1.25 mol × 6.022 × 10²³ molecules / 1 mol

7.53×10²³ molecules

Which molecule is most polar?
A) CH3CHO
B)CO2
C)CH3Cl
D)C2H6
E)NONE
Anit [1.1K]

the answer is none

Explanation:

Water

Water is the most polar molecule because a bond between oxygen and hydrogen has the most difference out of the atoms listed. Although the oxygen has two hydrogens bonded, this does not decrease the electronegativity of oxygen, but oxygen unfairly shares sets of electrons from both hydrogens, making it more polar still
