Answer:

A - 50

B - 12 (or 12.5 if any decimals are included)

C - 3

D - 2

E - 0

In the table it seems that the values for Radioactive Atoms (Predicted) are the values for 0.5^{π} multiplied by 100. For smaller numbers, they are rounded to two decimals such as for 0.0625 which if multiplied by 100 should be 6.25. This value is rounded to 6.

Similar is 0.0078125 which is rounded to 0.01 only. When this is multiplied by 100, it gives the value of 1. Thus, the values for D and E are most probably also 2 and 0. If the same logic is followed as for value 0 as they are rounded to 0.02 and 0.00 before multiplying by 100.

Another way to look at this is that the value is half of that of the previous life cycle. Thus, A is half of 100 which is 50 and 25 (life-cycle 2) is half of 50. My answers are also respecting this trend.

Vineyards and orchards operate all year round. What are some practices from the recommended list of physical/cultural control th
Sloan [31]

Answer:

Some practices from the recommended list of physical/cultural control that you could do year-round to help control pests are as follow:

1. We can use those plant species that are more competitive. These plant species include release of chemical toxins that suppress other plants and insects.

2. Use of large Hight quality seeds.

3. By using narrow spacing in row and increasing seeding rate.

4. By using shallow seeding technique which allow desired plant species to grow and develop faster above the surface of soil.

5. By ensuring that our plant species is perfectly placed in that growing environment which is optimized with every specs.

6. By rotating the crops

7. By rotating plant species with different growing cycles and seasonal cycles.

8. By rotating herbicides with alternative modes of action to delay the herbicide resistance development.

Greenhouse gases are measured by their ability to trap outgoing solar radiation and convert it to heat, warming the atmosphere.
Gnom [1K]

Answer:

Greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and certain synthetic chemicals, trap some of the Earth's outgoing energy, thus retaining heat in the atmosphere. This heat trapping causes changes in the radiative balance of the Earth—the balance between energy received from the sun and emitted from Earth—that alter climate and weather patterns at global and regional scales.

Multiple lines of evidence confirm that human activities are the primary cause of the global warming of the past 50 years.1 Natural factors, such as variations in the sun's output, volcanic activity, the Earth's orbit, the carbon cycle, and others, also affect Earth's radiative balance. However, beginning in the late 1700s, the net global effect of human activities has been a continual increase in greenhouse gas concentrations.

This change in concentrations causes warming and is affecting various aspects of climate, including surface air and ocean temperatures, precipitation, and sea levels. Human health, agriculture, water resources, forests, wildlife, and coastal areas are all vulnerable to climate change.

Many greenhouse gases are extremely long-lived in the atmosphere, with some remaining airborne for tens to hundreds of years after being released. These long-lived greenhouse gases become globally mixed in the atmosphere and their concentrations reflect past and recent contributions from emissions sources worldwide. Others, like tropospheric ozone, have a relatively short lifetime in the atmosphere.
