First you need to know that any object having mass is subjected to force of gravity.

Second, for two moving objects that are touching, there will exist force of friction. This force will exist between the two objects as well as between the objects and the surface they are moving on (unless this surface is perfectly smooth and friction-less).

The force of friction is a force that opposes the motion of the body.

What is the change in energy of a gas at a pressure of 105 kPa, if 245 J of energy is added causing a change in volume from 25.3
Ahat [919]

Answer:

-1151.5 J

Explanation:

Given that:

The supplies energy = 245 L

The energy used in the expansion of gas = Pressure ×ΔV (change in volume)

At standard conditions;

Pressure = 105 × 10³ Pa

energy used in the expansion = 105 × 10³ Pa × (38.6 - 25.3)L

= 1396.5 J

Thus, the change in the energy of gas = 245 - 1396.5 J

= -1151.5 J

Hence, we can conclude that the gas has lost its own energy in the process of expansion.

Sav [38]

Answer:

  •                   0.052301 km have 5 significant figure
  •                   400 cm have 1 significant figure
  •                   50.0 m  have 3 significant figure
  •                  4500.01 ml have 6 significant figure

Explanation:

According to rules of significant figure

0.052301 km have 5 significant figure:

  • Zero to the left of the first non zero digit not significant.
  • Zero between the non zero digits are significant.

400 cm have 1 significant figure:

  • Trailing zeros are not significant in numbers without decimal points.

50.0 m  have 3 significant figure:

  • Trailing zeros are significant in numbers when there is decimal points.

4500.01 ml have 6 significant figure:

  • Zero between the non zero digits are significant.
