Answer: Unfair treatment is treating workers unfairly or poorly.

Explanation:

unfair treatment means that your employer can dismiss you from work at any time for any reason, or no reason at all. This also means that your employer can take action against you and “harass” you in the genetic sense.

Read the following excerpt from “The Gift of the Magi” and answer the question.
Ede4ka [16]

The type of conflict which is implied in the above passage is Person vs. Self.

In the short story “The Gift of Magi,” the American writer O. Henry speaks about the feeling of love and the emotions related to it. The couple Della and Jim are so much in love with each other that they would sacrifice anything for their partner to be happy. Since they are poor, they both fall short in arranging money for the Christmas gift. Della wanted to buy a platinum chain for Jim’s watch, but her savings were not enough for the gift. Della decided to sell off her long hair and buy a platinum chain for Jim's watch while Jim sold off her watch to buy a beautiful comb for Della's beautiful hair. The last scene of the story reflects on their love for each other which is beyond the materialistic nature of the world. Their sacrifice for each other made them the wisest people like Magi.

Reread these sentences from paragraph 3 of “Happiness Is” Which word or phrase is a context clue that can help you figure out th
gizmo_the_mogwai [7]

Answer:

before long they're just as unhappy

Explanation:

The word "ecstatic" means a feeling of being very happy or overjoyed. So, this means that the person is extremely happy compared to what he usually feels.

The phrase that serves as a context clue for the word ecstatic is "before long they're just as unhappy." This shows their prior feeling before being ecstatic. People can actually feel ecstatic when they talk about money, however when they get only the basic necessities, they go back to feeling unhappy. This shows how people are not contented with small things, when in fact, they should be happy about it.

So, this explains the answer.
