The easiest way to do this would be to implement the Pythagorean Theorem (a squared + b squared = c squared) so 6 squared + x squared = 12 squared.
Then you would have 36 + x squared = 144.
Subtract the 36 from both sides, then you'll have x squared = 108. take the square root of each side, and you have x= the square root of 108, which simplifies to 6× the square root of 3. So, X=6√3

Ah, looks like a special right triangle to me, just got done learning about these.

Alright, so, since this is a 30-60-90 triangle, 6 is the smallest leg (as across from 30 degree is the smallest leg), labeled as s. Across from the 90 is 12, as that is 2s.

The missing side, across from the sixty, would be 6 square root of 3 (fourth answer).

Write a linear function in slope intercept form only that corresponds with this table
Bezzdna [24]
Y = 3x + 1

Because,
slope intercept form is y=mx+b
Where y is the y values, m is slope, x is x values, and b is y-intercept

First, to find the slope use rise/run, so rise (from 10 to 13) is 3 and run is (from 3 to 4) is 1, 3/1=3

Next to find y-intercept plug in the slope and some x and y values,
10=3(3)+b
10=9+b
1=b
So then the equation is y=3x+1 you can check by plugging stuff in and also I graphed it so I’ll add a picture

This is my first time answering questions so if I got something wrong ask or something hope this helps :)

PIT_PIT [208]

Answer:

45.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since Hideki is draining a 45 gallon aquarium at a rate of 15 gallons per minute, to determine what is the initial value of the linear function that represents the situation, the following calculation must be performed:

45 (starting number) - 15(number of gallons per minute) X(minutes) = Y

Therefore, the equation would be 45 - 15X = Y, with which the initial value of the linear function that represents the situation is 45.
