Answer:

An ordinal scale

Explanation:

As the scale is defined according to some scores and what is important more than the value is the order (High - Medium - Low) it fits with the description of an ordinal scale, in which more important than the number is the order. Also this type of scale measures non numeric concepts, like in this case where  Leslie is studying anxiety, then more important that the number she wants to establish if the participants feel with a is high, medium or low level of anxiety.

Jeanne most likely lives in an alternative family.
Although traditional families (husband, wife, and children) are still prevalent today, there are also some other types of families that don't necessarily fit into this category. These families are referred to as alternative families, and they might include single parents, same-sex parents, adoptive parents, etc.

Explain the significance of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Who was involved? Why did it happen? What happened as a result of this a
mylen [45]

Answer:

FDR had been stirring up conflicts in Europe since around 1935 in the hopes of getting the United States involved in a war to create jobs after his New Deal programs failed.

The war in Europe didn't involve United States' interests, and so Congress wouldn't give FDR the green light.

To force their hand, he arranged for oil embargoes around the Pacific and then lured Japan to America with promises of much-needed oil.

First, however, they were required to purchases licenses to buy the oil and then Roosevelt reneged on selling them at the last minute. This infuriated the Japanese, provoking them into attacking Pearl Harbor.

In doing this, FDR's provocation of Japan to attack the US was an act of treason.

Why is it important to understand discourse, the public sphere, public agenda, and public policy?
denis-greek [22]

The constructionist view of discourse comprehension is most likely to emphasize the character’s motivations and emotions. Since discourse comprehension means building a meaning from extended parts of language you can infer that constructionist views more than what is seen in the eye.

Public discourse is a philosophical term that  refers to a main tenet of 'Political liberalism.' The premise of a liberal society is that individuals are free and even encouraged to form their own conceptions of the good. That is, what one thinks a good life is one's own making.

Women became more vocal in various media. In addition to increasing their readership of newspapers and being more actively involved by listening to other feminist leaders in their communities, this demonstrates the power of information and education.
