Every moving object has kinetic energy . PK=m*v^2 Any object that is raised against the force of gravity stores gravitational potential energy. PE = mass*g*height
According the Law of Conservation on Energy the total energy of an isolated system remains constant. In other words, the kinetic energy plus the potential energy equals a constant (KE+PE=Constant). So, it is true that if KE increases, than PE decreases. When PE is at a minimum, than KE is at a maximum. It is true also that KE decreases while PE increases . And that PE is at a maximum, KE is at a minimum.
