I will do 1-4 since there are a lot of questions and let me know if that helps you do the rest and I will help from there if that's okay :)

what we have to do is multiply the first equation by a x/x so that that fraction can be equivalent to the second one.. ( we will find the missing number) :)
Let's get started

1. 3/7= 36/?
The top is multiplied by 12 since 3×12=36
so multiply the bottom by 12 .. 7×12=84
84 is the missing number

2. 2/5=16/?
The top number is multiplied by 8 since 2×8=16
So multiply the bottom by 8 .. 5×8=40
40 is the missing number

3. 5/9=30/?
The top number is multiplied by 6 since 5×6=30
so multiply the bottom number by 6 .. 9×6= 54
54 is the missing number

4. 2/3= 12/?
The top number is multiplied by 6 since 2×6=12
So multiply the bottom by 6 .. 3×6=18
18 is the missing number

* this works the same if you top number is missing figure out what the bottom number is multiplied by and do the same to the top one..

1 = 84
2 = 40
3 = 54
4 = 18
5 = 35
6 = 21
7 = 33
 8 = 26
9 = 30
10 = 8
11 = 27
12= 28
13 = 21
14 = 13
15 = 10

( Task 2 ) Hope this helps :)

Distinguish between an axoim and a theorem
Anton [14]

Answer:

An axiom is often a statement assumed to be true for the sake of expressing a logical sequence. ... These statements, which are derived from axioms, are called theorems. A theorem, by definition, is a statement proven based on axioms, other theorems, and some set of logical connectives.

Step-by-step explanation:

I think this is right, but don't quote me on this.

The area of a square for on a scale drawing of 100 square centimeters and the scale drawing to 1 cm: 2 feet what is the area of
lilavasa [31]

Answer:

1.\boxed{\text{400 ft}^{2}}; 2. \boxed{\frac{1}{3716}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1. Calculate the area of the floor

If the area A₁ of a square floor on the scale drawing is 100 cm², the length of a side is 10 cm.

The side length l of the actual floor is

l = 10 cm × (2 ft/1 cm) = 20 ft

The area A₂ of the floor is

A = l² = (20 ft)² = \boxed{\text{400 ft}^{2}}\\

Step 2. Calculate the area ratios

We must express both areas in the same units.

Let's express the area of the room in square centimetres.

l = 20 ft ×  (12 in/1 ft) = 240 in

l = 240 in × (2.54 cm/1 in) = 609.6 cm

A₂ = l² = (609.6 cm)² = 371 612 cm²

The area A₁ on the scale drawing is 100 cm².

The ratio of the areas is

\frac{A_{1}}{ A_{2}} = \frac{100}{371612} = \frac{1 }{3716}\\

The ratio of the area in the drawing to the actual area is \boxed{\frac{1}{3716}}

The radius of a circular puddle is growing at a rate of 25 cm/sec.
tatiyna

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a)area A=pi r^2

rate of change of area =dA/dt =2 pi r dr/dt

given dr/dt =25 ,r =50

rate of change of area =dA/dt =2 pi *50 *25 =2500pi=7854

area growing 7854 cm2/s

b)area A=pi r^2

rate of change of area =dA/dt =2 pi r dr/dt

given dr/dt =25 ,A =64

pi r^2 =64

=>r =8/√pi

rate of change of area =dA/dt =2 pi *(8/√pi) *25 =400√pi=708.98

area growing 708.98 cm2/s
