Answer

Find out the fraction of the total sales did each salesperson sell .

To prove

As given

The two salespeople for a local advertising firm are Trinity and Jason.

Trinity sold $2030 in ads and Jason sold $1540.

Total sales = $2030 + $1540

                  = $ 3570

Now

Trinity\sales\ fraction = \frac{Trinity\ sales}{Total\ sales}

put all the value in the above

Trinity\sales\ fraction = \frac{2030}{3570}

simplify the aboves

Trinity\sales\ fraction = \frac{29}{51}

Jason\sales\ fraction = \frac{Jason\ sales}{Total\ sales}

put all the value in the above

Jason\sales\ fraction = \frac{1540}{3570}

simplify the aboves

Jason\sales\ fraction = \frac{22}{51}

Therefore the sales fraction are

Trinity\sales\ fraction = \frac{29}{51}

Jason\sales\ fraction = \frac{22}{51}

Are corresponding angles are still congruent if the lines aren’t parallel?
Alina [70]
No they are not in the corresponding angles theorem it states that if and only if two parallel lines are cut by a transversal then the pairs of corresponding angles are congruent. And if two lines are cut by a transversal and the corresponding angles are congruent, then the lines are parallel.

The triangles given below in the diagram are similar by; D: The SSS Similarity theorem.

<h3>How to interpret similar triangles?</h3>

From triangle similarity theorems, we know that;

If a segment is parallel to one side of a triangle and intersects the other two sides, then the triangle formed is similar to the original and the segment that divides the two sides it intersects is proportional.

Now, from the given diagram, we see the ratio of corresponding sides are congruent as;

45/30 = 54/36 = 36/24 = 1.5

Thus, the triangles are similar by SSS similarity theorem
