I think the approach that often used is Constructivism.
Often times, in a specific society , there will be a characteristic of pattern and behaviors that are tolerated and the one that don't.
For example, in Eastern culture, it is not tolerated to call someone that is older solely by name.
diffusion of responsibility and pluralistic ignorance
Psychologists John Darley and Bibb Latane believes that the more bystanders are in the emergency situation, the less likely someone will intervene. They hypothesized that this diffusion of responsibility is due to the bystanders’ expectations and assumption that someone in the crowd is going to volunteer. It also proposes this phenomenon is more likely to occur in larger groups versus smaller groups. Pluralistic ignorance is demonstrated by bystanders getting the feel of what others are feeling about the situation. How they will react will then be based on other’s reactions.
One problem resulting from urban areas growing is that family-farms are being sold out, and that affects the communities around it. And second, it affects the natural enviorment with pollution, no matter how many laws there are. Take L.A. for example, at times it can be very smogging. You see it in the sky but not many people speak out against it. It proabably was once a little town too.
Answer:
Ego
Explanation:
Erik Erikson was widely known for his psychosocial theory of development, having modified Freud’s theory of psychosexual. However, in Erikson attempt to explain his psychosocial theory of development, placed more important role on how ego in each personality determines positive contributions to development of an individual, specifically in mastering attitudes, ideas, and skills at each stage of development.
Hence, the ability to grasp these developmental attitudes provides the children needed growth that is essential to their success and making of positive contributions as members of the society.
Therefore, Erikson's theory of personality grants more power to the EGO than Freud had allowed.
