givi [52]

Answer:

8 is the side length of the greater square.  100=x^2+(x-2)^2

Step-by-step explanation:

64+36=100

8 squared plus 6 squared equals 10 squared

8 is 2 more than 6

100=x^2 +y^2

x-y=2

If f(3)=5 and f(4)=8 find f(7) and f(8)
s344n2d4d5 [400]
F(3) = 5 [5-3=2 diff]
f(4) = 8 [8-4=4 diff] (or 2 times larger than f(3)’s diff)

If that holds true, then continue the pattern:

f(5) = 13 [2 times f(4) diff = 8 so 5 + 8 = 13]
f(6) = 22
f(7) = 39
f(8) = 72

The only problem with my answer is that it could be times 2 or ^2. My answer above assumes times 2.

Each side of the first figure is one unit copy and complete the table then find the function rule for the relationship between t
sergij07 [2.7K]
Perimeter of a shape is the total length of its border

Figure 1, perimeter = 5 units
Figure 2, perimeter = 7 units
Figure 3, perimeter = 9 units
Figure 4, perimeter  = 11 units

Notice that the perimeter is forming an Arithmetic sequence; 5, 7, 9, 11 with a common difference of 2

The general form of an Arithmetic sequence is

n_{th}term=dn+0^{th}term

Where 'd' is a common difference and 'n' is the number of terms.

We have d = 2, and
zero term = the term before the first term = 3

n_{th}term=2n+3 ⇒ This is the rule to find the perimeter of the next figures
