Which fact is not used to prove that XYZ is similar to VYW

Mathematics

Answer: The correct answer is: C) X, V and Y are collinear points.

Explanation: Three points being collinear does not do much in a similarity proof.

In order to prove similarity, we want to prove that all of the angles of one triangle are congruent to all of the angles of the other triangle.

The reflexive property showing an angle is congruent to itself helps do this.

The Corresponding Angles Postulate helps to prove angles are congruent.

A transversal can help prove angle congruence.

Collinear points will prove that angles sum to 180°, which will not help us prove similarity between triangles.

laila [671]
I think the answer is yes you can because they are both different things.

What I mean by that is that the United Stated as .151% of its people with hearing problems, and .093% with vision problems. So really adding them together just mixes it saying that .244% of people in the united states have either a vision or a hearing problem.

It doesn’t make it any more or any less people by adding them together. Therefore it’s not any more or any less probable to pick one or the other.

Hopes this helps.

A coin is being flipped 400 times. What is the probability of it landing on heads at most 170 times, rounded to the nearest tent
lisabon 2012 [21]

Hello!

We have two probabilities we can use; we have 170/400, for our experiment, and 1/2, which is our theoretical probability.

To solve, we just multiply the two probabilities.

\frac{170}{400}(1/2)=0.2125≈21.3

Therefore, we have about a 21.3% chance of this event occurring.

I hope this helps!

Describe in a complete sentence the solution set for 3x + 3 = 3+ 3x.
sineoko [7]

Answer:

It has infinitely as many solutions

Step-by-step explanation:

Equations and Identities

When dealing with equations, we must find values of the variable who mak the expression become an identity.

The expression is an identity regardless on what the value of x is, so we can say the equation has infinite as many solutions. For example x=0 will make the expression look like 3=3 which is an identity. If x=8, we'll obtain 27=27 and so on

What is percent of change $50 to $65
zzz [600]
You would do percent of change.
meaning you would subract 65 and 50 to get 15. then you would put 15 over 50 (as a fraction) then equals r/100. then you would cross multiply to get r.

orginal:50
new:65
65-50=15

15/50=r/100
15r=5000
then divide by 15 to get r
