You draw two circles and convert the percentages to angles. 100% maps to 360°, to 50% maps to 180 degrees etc.

Then start by drawing a line from the origin of the circle to the top. This is your starting line, work your way clockwise to create pizza slices with the given angles you have just calculated.

In the double-bar graph, you create 5 categories (for each spending) and draw two bars above each category (one for each roommate).

For question b I would categorize the spendings into necessary and unnecessary, and then compare the amount of unnecessary spendings...

Verify experimentally that the angle opposite to the longer side is greater than
Veronika [31]

Answer:

If two sides of a triangle are unequal, the angle opposite to the longer side is larger (or greater). You may prove this theorem by taking a point P on BC such that CA = CP.

Step-by-step explanation:

That's how you can prove which side is bigger

Carla drops a carton of eggs. out of 12 eggs, 7 eggs are cracked. as a decimal, what fraction of the eggs are not cracked? [roun
anyanavicka [17]
There are 5 eggs which remained. In a fraction, the eggs which are not cracked is expressed as 5/12. Converting it to decimals, the answer is 0.4166667. Since the answer only requires 2 decimal places, the number has to be rounded off to the hundredths place. Since 6 is more than 5, the value of the hundredths place is added by 1. Hence the final answer is 0.42.

Find the difference of the following polynomials:<br> (-2r4 + 3r3 - 10) and (4r4 - p3 + 2r2 + 7).
Vilka [71]

-6 r^{4}+4 r^{3}-2 r^{2}-17 is the difference between -2 r^{4}+3 r^{3}-20 \text { and } 4 r^{4}-p^{3}+2 r^{2}+7

Step-by-step explanation:

Given equations,

-2 r^{4}+3 r^{3}-20 \text { and } 4 r^{4}-p^{3}+2 r^{2}+7

Difference of the polynomial is written as

=-2 r^{4}+3 r^{3}-20-\left(4 r^{4}-p^{3}+2 r^{2}+7\right)

Open the brackets and multiply with -1 the whole expression \left(4 r^{4}-p^{3}+2 r^{2}+7\right) becomes

=-2 r^{4}+3 r^{3}-20-4 r^{4}+p^{3}-2 r^{2}-7

=-6 r^{4}+4 r^{3}-2 r^{2}-17

This is the difference of given two polynomials is -6 r^{4}+4 r^{3}-2 r^{2}-17.

A clown needed 275 balloons for a party he was going to, but the balloons only came in packs of 2.How many packs of balloons doe
atroni [7]
For this case what you need to know is that each package contains 2 balloons.
 Therefore, you can solve the problem by making the following rule of three:
 1 package ---> 2 balloons
 x ---------------> 275 balloons
 Clearing x we have:
 x = (275/2) * (1)
 x = 137.5
 Nearest whole number:
 x = 138
 Answer:
 I need to buy 138 packs of balloons
