The behavioral approach to psychology is also known as 'behaviorism', this area of psychology studies the connection between our minds and actions, exploring all that is hidden behind our thoughts, attitudes and emotions. For the behavioral approach, there is no mind-body duality and thus everything is seen as operant behavior: emotions, actions, physiological reactions, language, thought, etc. Individuals who believe that rewards and punishments determine our actions are following the behavioral approach of psychology.
