Explain one adaptation that helps grasses succeed in grasslands
ehidna [41]

Answer:

Basal meristems

Explanation:

Meristems are the portion of plants able to generate any kind of new tissues. Therefore, the way plants keep their meristems protected is related to climate adaptation.

Grasslands tend to be arid ecosystems, so grasses have developed basal meristems, meaning they spend the dry season very close or under soil, where water evaporates slowlier than above surface, until wet season allows meristems to generate new stems and leaves.

This disposition is also useful in cases of fire and grazing, which are also frecuent in grasslands.

Which phenomenon causes oceans to bulge? the blowing wind the Coriolis effect the moon’s gravity the rotation of Earth
Gelneren [198K]

The correct answer is (c) the moon' gravity

The moon's gravity causes oceans to bulge. The moon's gravitational power is responsible for the rising and falling tides. The moon affects the ocean on the sides of the planet facing and facing away from it which causes oceans to bulge away from the earth. On one side ocean bulges away from the earth as planet is being pulled towards the moon and on the other side the ocean bulges towards the moon. Bulges facing towards the moon is high tides and bulges not facing towards moon is low tides.

Which characteristic is used to classify galaxies?
Brut [27]

Answer:

The galaxies were classified based on the shape and structure exhibited by them.

Explanation:

In the 1920's, the galaxies were classified based upon the shape and structure by famous scientist Edwin Hubble. He did it by a telescope with which he captured various galaxies existing. He ordered (or "arranged") their shapes as winding, banned winding, curved, sporadic, and impossible to miss. This framework was known as the Hubble morphological succession of cosmic system types.

Hubble noticed that a few universes, similar to the M31-Andromeda Galaxy, showed up as circles and had arms of stars and residue which showed up in a winding example. Like M31, these worlds showed up almost uniform in splendor. Likewise, Hubble saw that in a portion of these sorts of worlds the arms were all the more firmly twisted around the cosmic system. He called these winding systems. Our Galaxy, the Milky Way, is a case of a winding universe.

disa [49]
The assessment activity that enabled the nurse to derive to the conclusion of "related to" factor is THE USE OF ATROPINE MOLECULE.

Atropine injection is used before anesthesia. This decreases the mucus secretion and keeps the heartbeat normal during anesthesia and surgery. In case of any allergic reaction, atropine sulfate should not be administered in the patient.
