Social cognitive theory is an extension of social learning theory. This suggests that individual knowledge acquisition and learning is based on social interactions, experiences and external media influences. The learning is dependent upon whether people are rewarded or punished for the behavior and actions.
One can learn to aggress over the other by observing and imitating others. It is a kind of behavioral response based on the social-cognitive ability of the person.
