A soccer player extends her lower leg in a kicking motion by exerting a force with the muscle above the knee in the front of her

leg. she produces an angular acceleration of 37.5 rad/s2 and her lower leg has a moment of inertia of 0.750 kg · m2. what is the force exerted by the muscle, in newtons, if its effective perpendicular lever arm is 3.30 cm?

Answer:

The force exerted by the muscle is 852.27N

Explanation:

Force F exerted by the muscle is expressed as a function of the torque τ and the effective perpendicular arm r.

F = τ/r ... (1)

Where τ = moment of inertia I × angular acceleration α

τ = Iα ... (2)

Substituting equation 2 into 1 to get F will give;

F = Iα/r

Given the following parameters

I = 0.75kgm²

α = 37.5rad/s²

r = 3.30cm = 0.033m

F = 0.75(37.5)/0.033

F = 28.125/0.033

F = 852.27N

The force exerted by the muscle is 852.27N

Answer:

Force exerted by muscle = 852.27N

Explanation:

We are given that;

lever arm; d = 3.3cm = 0.033m

Angular acceleration; α = 37.5 rad/s²

Moment of inertia of Leg; I = 0.75 kg.m²

Now, we know that torque is given by the relationship ;

τ = Iα

Where, I is moment of inertia and α is angular acceleration.

Thus,

τ = 0.75 x 37.5 = 28.125 N.m

Now, the relationship between torque and force is given by;

Torque = Force x perpendicular distance

We have torque = 28.125 N.m

We also have perpendicular distance as the lever arm = 0.033m

Thus,

28.125 N.m = Force x 0.033m

Thus,

Force = 28.125 N.m/0.033m

Force = 852.27N

¿Qué resistencia debe ser conectada en paralelo con una de 20 Ω para hacer una
ValentinkaMS [17]

Answer:

60 Ω

Explanation:

R(com) = 15 Ω

1/R(com) = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 ..... + 1/Rn

1/15 = 1/20 + 1/R2

1/R2 = 1/15 - 1/20

1/R2 = (4 - 3) / 60

1/R2 = 1/60

R2 = 60 Ω

así, la combinada de resistencia necesaria es 60 Ω

In class we described the tidal forces that are responsible for raising and lowering thewater level near the shore of the ocean.
Sloan [31]

The newton's law of universal gravitation used to describe how a particle attracts every other particle in the universe.

The equation is given by,

F= G\frac{m_1 m_2}{r_2}

Where,

F= Gravitational force

m_1, m_2 = masses of the objects

r= is the distance between the center of their masses

G= Gravitational constant

For our problem we have defined that,

M_m = 7.24*10^{22}kg (mass of the moon)

d= 3.84*10^8 km (distance Earth-moon)

G= 6.671*10^{-11}Nm^2/kg^2

M=Mass of a person

We have then,

F_m = M\frac{6.67*10^-11*7.34*10^22}{3.84*10^8}

F_m = M*3.320*10^{-5} N

In the other hand we have the force on m-mass due to earth

F_E= MG = M*9.8N

Ratio is given by

\frac{F_m}{F_E} = {M*3.320*10^{-5}}{9.8} = 3.387*10^{-6}

B) Suppose there is a group of young people surfing in the moonlight. They are directly under the moon. At this time the moon exerts its gravitational effect of the earth that causes the tide to rise. Around 6 hours later, when the earth has moved a quarter of the moon, the force on that point decreases, so the tide drops. However, after another 6 hours, people return and experience the same process. In this case the moon is not above them, but on the other side. This is because the moon having an orbit on the earth, generates an external force, similar to the previous one, but the earth reacts in the opposite way. It is like going in a car and turning it, all people will tend to get out of it, because a centrifugal force is experienced.

Svetradugi [14.3K]

Answer:

Tech B

Explanation:

The control of electric actuators may be through through a two-wire or a five-wire circuit through the driver circuit by bidirectionally controlling via the motor wire polarity. The door position is determined by counting the actuator commutator pulses by the control module in the actuator with 2-wire, while the actuator with 5-wire uses potentiometer feedback.

The A/C ECU is the Air Condition Engine Control Unit.
