The human cells will lose totipotency about 4 days after fertilization. The fertilized egg creates a single totipotent cell called  a zygote. The zygote divides into identical totipotent cells. Approximately about 4 days, the totipotent cells begin to specialize and becomes pluripotent.

Between which two adjacent distances did the largest decrease in the size of the pupil take place?
Lelu [443]
The question above is about an experiment that was performed on eyes.
The experiment involves covering the left eyes of the experimental subject while the right eye is exposed to light at different distances and the correspondent size of the pupil measured.
In the graph given for the experiment, the largest decrease in the size of the pupil take place between 7 and 8 distances. At distance 7, the size of the pupil is 4mm while at distance 8, the size is 1mm, which means that, there is a decrease of 3mm in pupil size. This is the largest decrease on the graph.

Your family is driving across the country to the Grand Canyon. What type of pollution is your car producing?
il63 [147K]

Answer:

Option A, Mobile source

Explanation:

A mobile source of pollution pollutes the environment while moving. It does not stay at one constant position like a chimney of industry or a stationary machine releasing pollutant gases. Hence, all the moving vehicles, automobiles, diesel engines etc. which release harmful things thereby degrading environment are called mobile source of pollution. Thus,  a car releasing pollution while driving through the Grand Canyon will be considered as mobile source of pollution.
