Answer:

Explanation:

Projects which has highest return shall be accepted.

Assuming brad ford can take up to $40,000,000 at the rate of 11 % and more funds at 14 % cost of capital.

Now we will calculate weighted average return for each combination

For a and b = (30×18+ 10×16)/40 = 17.5

For second option

(20×12 + 10×15 +10×16)/40 = 13.75

So projects A and B shall be accepted

mart [117]

Answer:

$1.75

Explanation:

Earnings per share to be reported = Earnings per share of commo stock * (1 - 4%)

Earnings per share to be reported = $1.82 * 96%

Earnings per share to be reported = $1.7472

Earnings per share to be reported = $1.75

So, the 2019 earnings per share to be reported in the annual report for 2020 are $1.75.

Consider luxury weekend hotel packages in Las Vegas. When the price is $250, the quantity demanded is 2,000packages per week. Wh
konstantin123 [22]

Answer:

The elasticity is about 1.43, and an increase in the price will cause hotels' total revenue to decrease

Explanation:

The formula of the midpoint for the variation of the quantity is  \frac{Q2-Q1}{(Q2+Q1)/2} *100 and for the price is \frac{P2-P1}{(P2+P1)/2} *100. With the variation of the price and the quantity the elasticity formula is ΔQ/ΔP. Replacing the elasticity is -1.43

The price elasticity of the demand is bigger than 1, that means that the demand is elastic, every increase of the price will cause a bigger decrease of the quantity, the revenue will drop because the increase of the price do not compansete the decrease of the quantity.

When Bread and Butter Bakers got the newest batch of flour, they noticed a price increase of $1.00 per pound of flour (double th
Marrrta [24]

Answer:

If Bread and Butter Bakers meet their sales goal, their net profit per month is $11,500

Explanation:

Bread and Butter plans to use 10,000 pounds of flour per month at a price of $2.00 per pound with an additional variable expense per loaf of $1.50. They hope to sell 10,000 loaves of bread.

Total variable expense = 10,000 x $2.00 + 10,000 x $1.50 = $35,000

Total sales = 10,000 x $6.00 = $60,000

Net profit = Total sales - Total variable expense - fixed costs = $60,000 - $35,000 - $13,500 = $11,500
