The decision in King v. Chapman, et al (1945) was instrumental in the destruction of “white primaries” held by many southern Democratic parties. This was done to prevent blacks from voting for candidates that supported them and to reduce the number of black voters.

*Note: Primary elections are held for voters to select a candidate and diminish the number of candidates vying for the position.

The decision in King v. Chapman (1945) was key in ending the "White Primary" in the United States, that is to say, the local "rules" that the primary elections were only for white people.

The case originated because of the lawsuit made by Primus E. King, an African American and a registered voter who was denied his right to vote in the Democratic Party’s primary election of Columbus, Georgia because according to this state statutes, the primaries were only for Whites.

However, in Court, it was decided that the exclusion of black voters was unconstitutional under the Fourteenth, Fifteenth and Seventeenth Amendments. And therefore, the "White Primary" was prohibited in all states of America.

Experts and non-expert groups do not categorize using the same levels. Suppose we compare horticulturalists to people with littl
lubasha [3.4K]

Answer:

- Subordinate; basic.

Explanation:

As per the question, given that five different plants are there to be labelled; it could be predicted that the expert group would firstly label the plants on 'subordinate' level while the 'non-expert' group would label on the 'basic' level. The key reason for this difference is that the experts possess essential knowledge of the domain while the non-experts would move gradually towards the expertise. Thus, the former views the information in a distinctly organized and meaningful pattern significant to the aspects of their knowledge while the latter lacks in such aspects and views the given domain or situation differently.
