Answer: Republicanism is a representative form of government organization. It is a political ideology centered on citizenship in a state organized as a republic. Popular sovereignty is the principle that the authority of a state and its government are created and sustained by the consent of its people, through their elected representatives (Rule by the People), who are the source of all political power. it helps US citizens by giving power to rule the people by the people.
