They did this because people are a resource and they were tired of all the deaths occurring between their 2 civilizations. I believe they both were satisfied with this outcome because after 2 years, there has not been one death due to a conflict.</span>

I think it will be disastrous. A two front war means they have to focus on more than one enemy at a time, on two different locations. This does not seen successful considering it is hard enough to focus attention to one front alone.
