\frac{2}{5}x= 10

We need to solve for x

To get x alone we need to remove the denominator 5

To remove denominator 5  we multiply by 5 on both sides

5*\frac{2}{5}x= 10*5

2x = 50

2x means 2 times x

2 is multiplied with x. so to remove 2 we divide by 2

\frac{2x}{2}= \frac{50}{2}

So x= 25

<u>Answer:</u>

25

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

2 over 5 x= 10 can be written in mathematical terms as:

\frac{2}{5} x = 10

To solve this equation, take the denominator of the fraction on the left side of the equal sign to the right side of the equal sign and multiply it with the constant i.e. 10 in this case

\frac{2}{5} x = 10

2x = 10 x 5

2x = 50

Now to solve for x, divide the constant by the coefficient of x to get:

x = \frac{50}{2}

x = 25

f(x) = ((x^2) / 3) + x, for f(6)

f(6) = ((6^2) / 3) + 6

Square 6

f(6) = (36 / 3) + 6

Divide 36 by 3

f(6) = 12 + 6

Combine like terms

f(6) = 18

What is a number t divided by 82 in an algebraic expression?
irinina [24]
Hey there, Lets solve this step by step.

<span>A number t divided by 82
</span>
Let the number be represented by y.

<span>t divided by 82 = t / 8
</span>
Therefore-

y= t/82

<span>In algebraic expressions, "y" is normally used as the dependent variable and "x" is normally used as the independent variable, instead of other variables. So that is why i used the variable y in the equation. </span>

Does somebody know the answer? If you can please explain
notsponge [240]
None of them are correct.
You have to isolate the variable by dividing each side by factors that don't contain the variable.
And when you do so you get a closed point starting at positive 8 and an extending ray to positive infinity and a closed point at -15 with a ray extending to negative infinity on the number line so none of them are correct.
