Why anyone would want an advantage for this, I don't know. It's nearly impossible to figure out any. Yet, I did. You're welcome.
Advantages:
✯ Everything would be harmonious, whether it be bad or good.
✯There would be no such thing as, "picky people."
✯There would be no arguments over social issues.
Disadvantages:
✯There would not be any variety that shapes communities.
✯Opinions would be virtually nonexistent.
✯Individuals would be prone to be controlled.
✯People's beliefs would be so similar that they'd become facts to them.

...To recognize the commonalities in all human goals, and how those goals combine to maintain a functioning society.
King reminds the audience that everyone plays a role in society; casting people away creates tension and pushes us away from progress. It's a flaw that distracts us from order... and creates anger and greed as a by-product.
I woke up in the woods alone just stranded in the middle of nowhere nothing to be seen but just tall trees and insects crawling on me. Suddenly I felt as if I were being watched, I looked back and next thing I knew a thin, slimy arm reached out from behind the leaves of a bush, I slowly then saw a scaly green leg and tried dragging me across the woods. I was able to escape and I ran as fast as I could and I never looked back.
