How do you graph y=3/2x+4 in standard form

You can graph this by looking at the last number +4. That number shows where it will cross the y-axis.
Put a point on (0,4).  now, from there, look at the number that is written with the x:  3/2.
That is the slope, or how far up and over you go from one point to the next.
So, start at (0,4), and count up 3 and go over to the right 2 and that's where your second point will be. You continue with that point and go up 3 and over 2 for the third point, and so on. Now you can connect the dots with a ruler. That's how you plot on a graph.

Over [174]

Answer:

The correct options are;

1) Write tan(x + y) as sin(x + y) over cos(x + y)

2) Use the sum identity for sine to rewrite the numerator

3) Use the sum identity for cosine to rewrite the denominator

4) Divide both the numerator and denominator by cos(x)·cos(y)

5) Simplify fractions by dividing out common factors or using the tangent quotient identity

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the required identity is Tangent (x + y) = (tangent (x) + tangent (y))/(1 - tangent(x) × tangent (y)), we have;

tan(x + y) = sin(x + y)/(cos(x + y))

sin(x + y)/(cos(x + y)) = (Sin(x)·cos(y) + cos(x)·sin(y))/(cos(x)·cos(y) - sin(x)·sin(y))

(Sin(x)·cos(y) + cos(x)·sin(y))/(cos(x)·cos(y) - sin(x)·sin(y)) = (Sin(x)·cos(y) + cos(x)·sin(y))/(cos(x)·cos(y))/(cos(x)·cos(y) - sin(x)·sin(y))/(cos(x)·cos(y))

(Sin(x)·cos(y) + cos(x)·sin(y))/(cos(x)·cos(y))/(cos(x)·cos(y) - sin(x)·sin(y))/(cos(x)·cos(y)) = (tan(x) + tan(y))(1 - tan(x)·tan(y)

∴ tan(x + y) = (tan(x) + tan(y))(1 - tan(x)·tan(y)
