For example f(x) is a negative g(x) plus some simple function.
g(x) = 1/ (x-a)
f(x) = (-1)/(x-a) + x

Answer:

x=1

y= -1

z=2

Step-by-step explanation:

x+y+z=2 and x-y-2z=6

if z=2 then

x+y+2=2 and x-y+4=6

and these become

x+y=0 and x-y=2

usign linear cancellation method we get

2x=2

dividing both sides by 2 we get

x=1

then going back to one of the original equations and plugging x=1 and z=2 we get

1+y+2=2

solving for y we get

y= -1

WHAT IS 1/2 + 1/9 PLEASE ANSWER! AND EXPLAIN I NEED MY GRADE UP!!!
PSYCHO15rus [73]

Answer:

11/18

Step-by-step explanation:

1 2 + 1 9 = ? The Least Common Multiple (LCM) of 2 and 9 is 18. Multiply the numerator and denominator of each fraction by whatever value will result in the denominator of each fraction being equal to the LCM: 1 2 + 1 9 = 1 × 9 2 × 9 + 1 × 2 9 × 2 = 9 18 + 2 18 Now that the fractions have like denominators, add the numerators: 9 18 + 2 18 = 9 + 2 18 = 11 18 The result is: 1 2 + 1 9 = 11 18

so 11/18 is you answer

It is snowing and salt trucks are
Korolek [52]

Answer:

The volume of a mound of salt-sand mixture is 589.05 feet ³ or 589.05 cubic feet.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Let's check the information given to resolve the question:

Diameter of a mound of the mixture = 15 feet

Height (h) of the mound of the mixture = 10 feet

How much salt-sand mixture is there?

2. Let's find the volume of a mound of mixture with a conical shape:

For doing that, we need to use the volume formula of a cone.

It's: 1/3 * π * r² * h

Replacing with real values, we have:

1/3 * 3.1416 * 7.5 ² * 10 (Diameter = 15, so radius = Diameter/2 = 15/2 = 7.5)

Volume = 1/3 * 3.1416 * 56.25 * 10

Volume = 1/3 * 3.1416 * 562.5 (56.25 * 10 = 562.5)

Volume = 187.5 * 3.1416 = 589.05 feet ³ or 589.05 cubic feet.
