this picture is a scale drawing of a basketball court and 1 inch on the picture represents 15 feet of actual length. the dementi
bekas [8.4K]
If one inch represents 15 feet, then:

2 inches represent:
2 * 15 = 30 feet

1 2/3 inches represent:
1 2/3 * 15 =
= 5/3 * 15 =
= 75/3 =
= 25 feet

So the real area of the court is 30 * 25 = 750 square feet.

Find the volume of the solid obtained by rotating the region bounded by the given curves about the specified axis. x+y = 3, x = 4
Ad libitum [116K]
The intersection between the curves are
3, 0
0, 3
The volume of the solids is obtained by
V = ∫ π [ (4 - (y-1)²)² - (3 - y)²] dy with limits from 0 to 3
The volume is
V = 108π/5 or 67.86

The perimeter of a rectangular field is 100 feet. Which *COULD NOT* be the length and width of the perimeter?
Rina8888 [55]

Answer:

D) L=50 W=50

Step-by-step explanation:

Just "plug and chug" these numbers and see which doesn't work.

A is not it, 20+30=50 (then *2 because we need 4 sides not just 2) 50*2=100

B isn't it, 10+40=50*2=100

C ain't it either 49+1=50*2=100

D is the answer 50+50=100*2=200
