Drinking water at room temperature helps a person in digestion more rapidly. It helps to better maintain the blood circulation. It helps a human body to get rid of toxins faster. But drinking cold water is now proven to scientifically burn more calories than drinking water at room temperature. The logic behind this statement is that because body has to work harder to main its core temperature, so when cold water is taken, body works harder and burn more calories.  Though this is not the long term way to lose weight.
