Describe the sharps fifle?
den301095 [7]

Answer:

hope you like it

Explanation:

Sharps rifles are a series of large-bore single-shot rifles, beginning with a design by Christian Sharps in 1848, and ceasing production in 1881. They were renowned for long-range accuracy. By 1874 the rifle was available in a variety of calibers, and it was one of the few designs to successfully transition to metallic cartridge use.

The Sharps rifles became icons of the American Old West due to their appearances in many Western-genre movies and books. Perhaps as a result, a number of different rifle companies currently offer reproductions of the Sharps rifle.

In 1984 and 1988, African American L. Douglas Wilder ran for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Lunna [17]
This statement is false. In 1984 and 1988, it was not the African-American L. Douglas Wilder who ran for the Democratic presidential nomination, instead, it was the Jesse Jackson who was determined one to run for the presidential position in the government of the United States

In the excerpt from common sense, what does thomas paine think the british should feel in their alleged parental relationship wi
vovikov84 [41]
Common Sense

Common Sense was an instant best-seller. Published in January 1776 in Philadelphia, nearly 120,000 copies were in circulation by April. Paine's brilliant arguments were straightforward. He argued for two main points: (1) independence from England and (2) the creation of a democratic republic.

Paine avoided flowery prose. He wrote in the language of the people, often quoting the Bible in his arguments. Most people in America had a working knowledge of the Bible, so his arguments rang true. Paine was not religious, but he knew his readers were. King George was "the Pharaoh of England" and "the Royal Brute of Great Britain." He touched a nerve in the American countryside.
