Answer:

Group of choices:

a. Media sharing

b. Blog

c. Content aggregator

d. Mass media

The correct answer is c. Content aggregator .

Explanation:

Feedly is considered to be a content aggregator site because all of its information is derived from external sources. In a broader sense, content aggregators are tools that allow information to be collected in order to locate it in a specific place. One of the advantages is that it allows having the information in the same place, which saves time for those who are interested in the same or similar topics.

If your a busy small business owner, taking time away from your store makes you less efficient. The trade offs for using this premium service are 1. your spending more money 2. control over quality. Vise versa if your paying more for the “best groceries” then that may not be an issue. Also be aware that another issue is stocking, going to the store yourself does not guarantee that the store will have all items in stock when you go. 3. Time, taking time to grocery shop takes away from your business or the cost of an employee to watch the business or do the shopping for you having you rely on a third party’s judgment. 4. Gas, the cost of gasoline to go to and from the store. If all these are added up then you are essentially paying more for your “in person” groceries as it is. Choosing to grocery shop yourself saves you money (although how much? Once everything is taken into account?) but again the time it takes away is significant. For a busy small business owner time is extremely important and this is why the trade off of cost or added expenses for groceries may be worth it. (I hope this helps guide you in answering this question).

kogti [31]

Answer:

Bad debt expense  $ 26,300

Allowance for Uncollectible Accounts   $ 26,300

Explanation:

Initial Balance

Accounts Receivable  $ 121,000

Allowance for Uncollectible Accounts   $ 2,100 - Debit

Bad Debts Expense =  20% / Accounts Receivable $ 24,200

Adjusting Entry

Bad debt expense  $ 26,300

Allowance for Uncollectible Accounts   $ 26,300

Final Balance

Accounts Receivable  $ 121,000

Allowance for Uncollectible Accounts   $ 24,200 - Credit

Accounts Uncollectible are those credit that the company give and there are not chances of been collected.

When the customers buy products on credits but then the company can't collect the debt, then it's necessary to write off the unpaid bill as uncollectible

One way it's to write-off directly the bad debts at the moment decided that the credit are uncollectible, the total amount it's reported as bad debt expenses which affect negativly the income statement and the accounts receivable are reduce in the same amount, less assets.

The other way it's to determine a percentage of total amount of accounts receivables as uncollectible, exist many ways to analize the accounts receivable and figure the value of uncollectible.

When the company have the percentage of uncollectible accounts the journal entry required is Bad Expenses (debit) with Allowance for Uncollectible Accounts (credit)

At the moment of the write-off as the expenses were before recognized we only use the Allowance for Uncollectible Accounts (Debit) with Accounts Receivable (Credit), with this we are recognizing the uncollectible credit of the company.

Explanation:

We need to calculate the net present value of the cash flows to determine the  IRR.

NPV = PV of Cash inflows - PV of Cash outflows

As the cash inflow and outflow are fixed for specific period of time so, we will use the annuity formula to calculate the NPV.

NPV = [ $5,000 x ( 1 - ( 1 + 18% )^-5) /18% ] - [ ( $4,000 x ( 1 - ( 1 + 18% )^-12) /18%) x ( 1 + 18%)^-6 ]

NPV = $15,636 - $7,102 = $8,534

We need NPV on a higher rate of 10%

NPV = [ $5,000 x ( 1 - ( 1 + 10% )^-5) /10% ] - [ ( $4,000 x ( 1 - ( 1 + 10% )^-12) /10%) x ( 1 + 10%)^-6 ]

NPV = $18,954 - $15,385 = $3,569

IRR = Lower rate + [ Lower rate NPV / (Lower rate NPV - Higher rate NPV) ] (higher rate - lower rate)

IRR = 10% + [ 3,569 / ($3,569 - $8,534) ] (18% - 10%)

IRR = 4.25%
