In a multicellular organism, different cells are specialized for certain functions to help the whole organism maintain the livin

g state. As cells differentiate to become specialized, the abundance of different organelles shifts to best serve those needs. Which organelle might be expected to be present in high abundance in a mammal's muscle cells that must extract large amounts of energy from food molecules to support the work of muscle contraction?

What is FAD in Biology
Shkiper50 [21]

Answer:

Flavin Adenine Dinucleotide

Explanation:

"Flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) is synthesized from riboflavin and two molecules of ATP. Riboflavin is phosphorylated by ATP to give riboflavin 5′-phosphate (also called flavin mononucleotide, FMN). FAD is then formed from FMN by the transfer of an AMP moiety from a second molecule of ATP."

It is one of Mendel's laws of inheritance. Unfortunately, there's no easy way to just know if an allele will be dominant or recessive.
