79d + 1605 and the number of visitors to the restaurant from Monday to Sunday can be modeled by g(d)= 100d + 321, where d is the number of days since Monday. What is the average number of burgers per person?

Answer:

Average = 96

Step-by-step explanation:

Average = sum of terms/ number of terms

sum of terms = number of burgers sold

number of terms = number of visitors

d =  number of days since Monday which is 7

burgers sold = 200d^3 + 542d^2 + 179d + 1605 substituting d with 7

burgers sold = 200(7)³ +542(7)² + 179(7) +1605

burgers sold =68600 + 26558 + 1253 + 1605

burgers sold =98016

number of visitors= 100d + 321

number of visitors= 100(7) + 321

number of visitors= 700+321

number of visitors= 1021

Average = 98016/1021

Average = 96

Lady_Fox [76]

Answer:

a) 1,518,000

b) 2,284,880

c) 60,720

Step-by-step explanation:

a) a. if the first letter must be Upper C comma Upper X comma Upper T comma or Upper M and no letter may be repeated?

We draw 5 boxes, and based on that we will see the total possible cases. There are 26 alphabets

The first box should have C or X or T or M .No letter may be repeated.

Any                    Any             Any                 Any                    Any

5 alphabets    of the            of the              of the                 of the

C,X , T , M      remaining     remaining       remaining          remaining

                   25 alphabets   24 alphabets   23 alphabets   22 alphabets

Therefore; total possible call letters = 5 × 25 × 24 × 23 × 22 = 1,518,000

b)

The first box should have C or X or T or M Repeats as allowed

Any                    Any             Any                 Any                    Any

5 alphabets    of the            of the              of the                 of the

C,X , T , M      remaining     remaining       remaining          remaining

                   26 alphabets   26 alphabets   26 alphabets   26 alphabets

Therefore Total possible call letters = 5 × 26 × 26 × 26 × 26 = 2,284,880

c)   The first box should have   C,X , T , M  and end with S

So the last place if fixed, and we now have 25 alphabets. The first box can go in 5 ways. The next box then will have only 24 letters to choose from, as the first box has taken a letter and the last box already has S in it. Repetition not allowed

Any                    Any             Any                 Any                       S

5 alphabets    of the            of the              of the                  is fixed

C,X , T , M      remaining     remaining       remaining           here

                   24 alphabets   23 alphabets   22 alphabets

Therefore Total possible call letters = 5 × 24 × 23 × 22  × 1 =  60,720

A phone company offers two monthly plans. Plan A costs $11 plus an additional $0.16 for each minute of calls. Plan B costs $29 p
Andrew [12]

Answer:

The plans will cost the same when the amount you have to pay for talking for "x" minutes on Plan A is the same has what you have to pay for talking for the same number of "x" minutes when using Plan B.

$$ Plan A = $$ Plan B

To find the charge on each plan we add the base rate to the per minute call rate for each.

Plan A = $27 + $0.11x

Plan B = $13 + $0.15x

Let's drop the $ sign for now and get rid of the decimal point by multiplying by 100.

2700 + 11x = 1300 + 15x

Subtracting 11x and 1300 from both sides:

4x = 1400

x = 350 min.

Using this result the plans both cost $65.50 for 350 min of talk time.

Step-by-step explanation:
